Interest in Saddlehorn Pipeline

acquired

Noble Midstream Partners and Greenfield

Midstream LLC have exercised the option to

acquire a 20% interest in the Saddlehorn Pipeline

through its Black Diamond Gathering joint venture.

Following a successful open season, the

Saddlehorn Pipeline is expanding by 100 000 bpd,

to a new total capacity of 290 000 bpd. The

incremental capacity is expected to be available in

late 2020 following the addition of incremental

pumping and storage capabilities. There will be no

additional capital required by Black Diamond in

2020 for the expansion of the pipeline.

Backed by minimum volume commitments

from high quality producers, the Saddlehorn

Pipeline acquisition gives Black Diamond entry

into high multiple, stable cash flows at

competitive valuation. The acquisition is expected

to generate returns above the company’s organic

capital plan and bolster the quality and

diversification of the Partnership’s cash flows.

With the pipeline online, Black Diamond

anticipates cash distributions in the 1Q20. NBLX

expects the acquisition to be leverage neutral to

2020 credit metrics and is expected to pay for the

acquisition through cash on hand and the

revolving credit facility. The effective date of the

transaction was 1 February 2020; Noble Midstream

2020 guidance included the Saddlehorn

acquisition and remains unchanged.

47 km of line pipes for Greece-

Bulgaria gas interconnector produced

The Greek company Corinth Pipeworks has

completed the production of 47 km of line pipes

for the route of the Interconnector Greece-

Bulgaria (IGB) gas pipeline. The first batch consists

of 32 in. diameter line pipes with external three-

layer polyethylene coating. Its delivery was

scheduled for the first week of February as the

pipes will be transported to storage bases along

the IGB route in both Greece and Bulgaria. Thanks

to the co-operation of all stakeholders,

construction work is progressing, and the project is

moving forward according to plan.

The length of the entire pipeline route is

183 km and a contract for the manufacture of

nearly 185 km of line pipes has been signed.

Following a public procurement procedure under

the Public Procurement Act, the contract was

awarded to the Greek manufacturer Corinth

Pipeworks. The production of the IGB line pipes is

being carried out at the company’s plant in

Boeotia, Greece, with a production capacity of

over 1 000 000 tpy.

ARB Midstream adds new

connection to pipeline system

DJ South Gathering, LLC (DJS), a subsidiary

of ARB Midstream, LLC (ARB) has

announced a key expansion of its fast-

growing crude oil gathering and

transportation system in the prolific DJ

Basin in northeastern Colorado, US.

DJS’ Platteville Complex now has

connectivity to Tallgrass Energy, LP’s Pony

Express Pipeline and terminal system. With

an initial throughput of 48 000 bpd, the

connection into Tallgrass’ Grasslands

terminal continues ARB’s mission to operate

the most connected crude pipeline system

and offer shippers the widest market

access, in the DJ Basin.

ARB’s link to Tallgrass’ Pony Express

system will be fed by ARB’s 300 000 bbls of

dedicated crude oil storage at Platteville,

which is in turn fed by DJS’s 90 000 bpd

Badger segment of the 220 000 bpd

Matador pipeline and the 150 000 bpd

bi-directional Freedom pipeline, linking

Platteville to Lucerne West.

ARB’s crude oil gathering systems

include over 250 miles of new pipeline

covering the core of the DJ Basin, with over

625 000 bpd of planned and existing

throughput capacity and 600 000 bbls of

storage.
